Slavoj Zizek discusses the concept of superego, using
A Few Good Men as an example. He explains the idea of a 'Code Red' situation in which "an act of transgression" is condoned (p. 54). Zizek believes that this, inevitably, creates a greater group cohesion. I tried to make a connection between this and
Praxis, but I'm not sure I believe that it's the same in both cases. Especially since the Praxis group is concerned with self-realization.
